Covered a short wedding session with Joe and Joan on their wedding day. Coincidentally, Joe's my secondary sch senoir and Joan's my poly coursemate *what are the odds?* Both pretty relaxed on their wedding day which started off at their nice and spacious home.

Well the dining table was covered with $100 worth of MacDonald's breakfast, even the photographer got food =))*1000pts*

The trip up to Sydney still seems so surreal. 7hrs flight, 1 hot towel, 2 meals, 2 toilet breaks and we
arrived in Sydney Australia. Darryl, Gabriel and myself were all geared up to attend "The Image Is Found"
first australian workshop. Our motel was pretty small though =(.

A couple of months before their wedding, I covered Chris and Yiru's ROM. Fast forward a few months later and they're getting Married =)

It was 630 in the morning, all was quiet and dark. Kinda peaceful actually, I was at the carpark waiting for
Chris to arrive.

Breakfast wasn't that satisfying but Chris soldiered on to claim his beautiful bride.

I was looking forward to covering Yas and Alvin's big day, I remember the both of them coming by the office
and Yas was complaining about traffic and being so expressive about it. At that point, my perspective of the
lady with the deep soothing voice you hear on the radio changed....alot! *hurhur. Alvin was quiet most of
the time but yet, made me feel he had a calm and confident personality.

The morning started with a few "first time" situations for me. The first time I encountered a blackout during
the bride's morning preparation and yet Yas was still so calm and collected about it. It did take awhile before
the lights came back on.

Arrival of the groom

First time I got to sit in a stretched limo =)

Some last minute instructions before facing whats ahead of them

The bridesmaids had the 'showgirls" theme going on.

Unfortunately, "weaponry" the guys brought along got confiscated. The men
still put on a good "fight" before they were allowed into the house.
The groom always gets his bride.

Being in a limo for the first time was a cool experience.

At the Amara Sanctuary

It was a short and sweet ceremony with family and close friend, the way a wedding should be. The couple got to hang out with them over brunch and the overall mood was very relaxed. They held their wedding banquet 2 weeks after. *more on that in another blogpost =)*

Travelling up to Perth again was another exciting trip for me. Kel and Ele are
really great to work with *True story* ANNNND!!! we all LOVE FOOOOOOOD!!! =)
Lots of laughs and lots of pasta *Yummmy*. Can't wait to shoot their wedding soon.

I liked the details from her wedding gown, nothing too flashy, gives a quiet elegant feel.

A year after Jocelyn and Clarence got married, I got a call from them and they were
thinking of doing a casual maternity session. We took some shots at their home, afterwhich
we went about their neighbourhood and goofed around alittle.

Edric's goofy and hilarious, Joanne's sweet and demure. Had a nice session shooting with both of them.
It was raining earlier before the shoot but we perservered and waited it out. *good move!*

They were too shy to show their affection infront of strangers, so I got them to hold hands =)

Edric was showing me the many types of martial arts that he's learnt. I'm not messing with this guy.

I met up with Joy and Lawrence and they expressed that they wanted a casual lifestyle session shoot.

We stopped by the playground down at their future residences. Shooting at void decks can be fun too!

Headed off to the Mint and we all became little kids again.

Joy and Lawrence both "warmed up" as we headed to east coast for our lastleg of the shoot.

Adelyne and Wei sheong(WS) had a really nice and simple wedding. An enjoyable shoot for me =).

Morning prep while waiting for WS to come by.

When in doubt at the gates, go online! WS was actually googling for lyrics for "Wind beneath my wings". The drinks the guys had to down weren't too great either.

Natasha and Eugene, 2 of the nicest people you'd ever get to meet. When they told me they're having plans
to have their ROM party on board a bus, it got me super excited! I mean, how cool is that? a bunch of close
friends, lots of food and a chartered bus to take us all over.
Mimolette

Our first stop was at Mimolette, started off as a welcome venue for their friends

And off we gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I then realised, shooting on a moving bus wasn't how I expected it to be =). I had to hold onto the
railings for support else every shot was going to be like scenes from the blair witch movie.

Our bus driver for the day, enduring all the noise and small cramp corners he had to manuver. When I
took this shot, I could see a cloud bubble over his head going "why me?". Sorry uncle, I didn't bring
my buspass.

Next stop, Margaritas at Dempsey

Everyone who wanted to speak and say their thankyous, had to put on the mexican sombereo.
I wanted to bring home the loud hailer *evil grin*.

The party ended off at the Golf course cafe close to Mimolette where the WII was brought out for some
Tennis fun.
This has definately been one of my most unique experiences shooting an engagement party!,
Nat and Eugene, I can't wait to cover the big day!!
